June 22 (2021) Safety Analytics Community Conversation - "Scientifically Proven Safety"

Join the Safety Analytics Community on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM CT for a presentation with Q&A and open discussion on "Scientifically Proven Safety" with Michael Quashne, Manager of Performance Assessment and Business Transformation at Baltimore Gas & Electric (BGE).

This session will discuss three projects performed as a partnership between construction industry safety leaders and a team of researchers at the University of Colorado through the Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA). These projects aim to move the safety profession, including related analytics, away from theory and toward defendable science. Topics include the statistical invalidity of TRIR, energy-based safety, and measuring the quality of safety leading indicator activities.
