Session Description:
During this session, we will take a look at how two utilities are addressing the process for performing exploratory analysis for theft, revenue loss, revenue protection and integrity.

Salt River Project will talk about revenue protection analytics, including programming languages, Cut in Flat Diversion Type, Strapped Meter Diversion Type, and A/C Bypass Diversion Type.

Hydro Quebec will discuss their energy theft detection platform. Given the deployment of Hydro-Québec`s advanced metering system (AMS) to all their customers, new ways of detecting energy theft are possible. This presentation will cover the results and lessons learned of their first analytical solution deployed for their Revenue Protection Department and their current development plans for the second iteration.
