Join the UAI Enterprise Analytics Community for a LIVE! and interactive session as part of UA Week (UAI members register for free) on Wednesday, November 18 from 2:30 - 4:00 pm CT for a presentation on "Voltage Analytics at the Enterprise Level: Improving the Health of the Grid with AMI Data". During this session, we encourage Q&A and open discussion to create an interactive and engaging environment, so come with your questions on the topic. Learn more below!

Alliant Energy created an algorithm that analyzes and ranks voltage anomalies by type, frequency, level; and geographically displays the output to engineers to assist with the assessment and diagnosis of their distribution system. During this session, representatives from Alliant Energy with the support of representatives from Mosaic Data Science, will explore this project in two parts. 

Part 1:

• Project Charter Overview and Alliant Energy's project methodology
• In-depth discussion of players and roles with the project, including why certain roles and players were important and why it was important for Alliant Energy to try an outside data science team, i.e. Mosaic Data Science
• A review of Alliant Energy's standard approach to projects and the alignment with outside methodology
• A sprint-by-sprint review of what was done and what was discovered along the way
• A high-level discussion of moving the pilot period
• How Alliant Energy plans to wrap-up the project, benefit commitments, etc.

Part 2:

• Moving the analytics project to production
• Data science discoveries during the project
• Lessons learned from managing a third party analytics vendor
