TOPIC 1: "A Look Back at 2020, 2021, 2022 with COVID and What it Caused and Reactions by Region" - Areas that will be discussed:
- The virus, virus variants and how utilities interact(ed) with their customer base, what customer programs were/are offered, how did/are load shapes changing, etc.
- What projects have not made it (below the water line) and are now above water line due to COVID and other challenges, like federal regulation changes, climate change bill, monkeypox, recession
- What services has your utility continued or stopped due to COVID-19? How do these services look post-pandemic?
- How has your utility found work-arounds or changed your internal/external processes due to COVID-19? From field operations to internal work environments to customer interactions and supply chain issues
TOPIC 2: "Data Science Democratization" - Areas that will be discussed:
- Overall high-level starting discussion: What do you think Data Science Democratization is?
- How are others enabling people who are not data scientists to get engaged with data science?
- Ensuring business adoption of our Data Science solutions.
- Share stories of Data Science projects that have seen successful business unit adoption and why they have been adopted vs others that were difficult or not utilized by the business.
