Join the UAI Asset Health Analytics Community  for a LIVE! and interactive session as part of UA Week (UAI members register for free) on Wednesday, November 18 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm CT for a presentation on "Utility AMI Stories: Harnessing the Power of AMI Data to Improve Asset Health & Performance". During this session, we encourage Q&A and open discussion to create an interactive and engaging environment, so come with your questions on the topic. Learn more below!

Join this UAI Asset Health Analytics Community Conversation to hear an introduction to AMI and to learn how multiple utilities are using AMI to improve asset health and performance. During this session, you will hear uses cases from the following utilities and the session will include Q&A and open discussion throughout each presentation to create an interactive and engaging environment. Come prepared to interact with our presenters and bring your questions.

    • Charles Schaeffer, Director of IT at Ameren will cover an introduction to AMI and share example analytics use cases on how they are improving asset health and performance using AMI
    • Yong Li, Data Science Manager, and his data science team at DTE Electric Distributions collaborated with AMI engineering, power quality engineering, and service operations to complete a project that used AMI voltage data in a Cloud platform to proactively identify customers who have over voltage problems related to certain assets (distribution transformers, regulators, and substation transformers). This project has been implemented in dispatching systems in early October 2020.
