Through the IPP, the Company has enrolled almost 176,000 customers on seven, time-variant demand rates (i.e., demand-based, electric-delivery rates that also include peak and off-peak hours).The IPP – which, at its inception, was the largest residential demand-rate pilot in the country – has allowed Con Edison to collect a wealth of data from pilot participants. To date, the Company has conducted 13 of 16 planned customer-awareness and- satisfaction surveys, and seven of 10 bill- and- load-impact evaluations.
