January 16 Data Science Community - Establishing an Unmanned Aerial Systems Program & the Data Coll

When:  Jan 16, 2024 from 13:00 to 14:00 (CT)

Join the Data Science Community on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM CT for a presentation with Q&A and open discussion on the topic, "Establishing an Unmanned Aerial Systems Program & the Data Collected" led by Peter Kalaitzidis, Robotics Program Manager at New York Power Authority (NYPA).

Session Description:

The goal of image capturing should not be reliant on just Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). They are drones, but in fact anything can do it. From a cell phone to a robotic dog, a boat, a plane, or a helicopter, the data must be ingested, processed, and catalogued for NYPA’s Asset Management to meet the goals of digitization.
